  • 6 or more years of UX and product design in consumer-facing (B2C) fintech: onboarding, digital banking, KYC/identity, digital wallets, or AI copilots. Internal B2B or enterprise tooling is not the target background.
  • Consumer psychology as the primary lens: a proven ability to understand and design for what users feel in high-stakes moments — fear, distrust, and anxiety about sharing sensitive data. This is the #1 must-have; the candidate should surface the emotional dimension on their own, not need it explained.
  • Strong understanding of user behavior under financial anxiety, conversion optimization, and mobile-first native flows.
  • C1 English level or higher.
  • A portfolio available to share during the hiring process, showing real end-to-end flows, not only UI.
  • A concrete track record of reducing drop-off and improving funnel completion, backed by real metrics.
  • Experience designing for vulnerable or high-perceived-risk users (e.g. elderly, low-digital-literacy, public banking, real KYC or biometric verification).
